Keegan Claxton Obituary
Keegan was born on October 15, 1991, in Renton, Washington, the son of Ken and Patti Claxton. He was raised in Federal Way, Washington, attending Rainier View Elementary School, Illahee Middle School, and Todd Beamer High School. He attended Shoreline College and Evergreen State College studying music and audio engineering. Keegan worked in various music and audio engineering roles and with a music entertainment organization.
Keegan was active throughout his school years in soccer, cross country and long-distance running. He was an avid hiker and loved being outdoors in nature, traveling and exploring new places. Keegan was passionate about music, including playing multiple instruments and attending music events and enjoyed sharing his love of music with his son, family, and friends.
Keegan is survived by his son, Jax (Jax's mother, Hannah Chase), his father, Ken Claxton, his mother, Patti Claxton, his sister, Kelsey Alshememry (Faisal), his brother, Cooper Claxton, his niece and nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Keegan will be remembered by his family and friends for his kind heart, curious nature, sense of humor, and his warm and caring personality. His presence will be greatly missed.
A private memorial service is being held and donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Music Aid Northwest or the Tacoma Tree foundation.

I just learned of this trying to track Keegan down online to reconnect and am devastated. Keegan was a beautiful soul, talented artist and musician, genius audio engineer, seeker of truth and love, kindred spirit, and a true friend and brother that I am blessed to have been able to know

I´m still having such a hard time processing this. I´m so sorry I didn´t make it to the memorial service. Some of my very best memories involve Keeg. Him tagging along on trips to Montana, going to the winery with him, hanging out with him at his house with "Patti Claxton at Omak". Late night Jack in the box runs to get their cheap tacos that always seemed to hit the spot. All the way back to the "SokkrRokkr" days when we´d sit for hours and talk on AOL messenger, thinking we were so cool. The world is just not going to be quite the same without him.

Keegan, and Kelsey, once spent the night at our house and Keegan lost a tooth. We were not prepared for this, so he got a $20 bill from the "Tooth Fairy". He wanted to lose all his teeth at our house after that.
