Keith Brice Life Reflections

Keith Brice, a beloved soul, was born on June 28, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois, as the fourth of 4 children to the late Lou Willie Brown Brice and Harrison Huntley, who both preceded him in death. Keith passed August 22, 2025

Keith received his formal education within the Chicago Public School system.

Later in life, Keith began studying the Islamic religion. Seeking enlightenment in the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and The sacred scripture in the Quran. He took pride in his religious convictions and embraced his new culture within the Muslim community. Graciously he professed his faith to the islamic religion by accepting Allah as his lord and savior.

Keith welcomed his first child Brandon Keith Barber, with partner Angela Barber in 1981. Over a decade later he expanded his family with his long-time childhood crush Mary Rhone. The 2 welcomed 2 boys, Keith Shamil Brice in '94 and his last baby boy Kendale Kewon Brice in '96. With 3 growing boys, Keith decided to settle down and was united in holy matrimony to Cassandra Page, affectionately known as "Peaches"

Keith was a dedicated father who loved his children more than anything in life. Although working a job wasn't a priority in Keith's world, spending quality time, creating bonds, and teaching his children life lessons were. It was the perfect way to spend his time. He instilled the value of brotherhood within his boys. Keith was an extremely intelligent person; he could retain information and articulate it to you in a way anyone could understand. He possessed a natural talent for repairing broken things and building new ones. He had a peculiar laugh that could make anyone smile when they heard it. Keith was a man who truly lived his life unapologetically.

Keith was called home to Jannah. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, the late (Mother) Lou Willie Brown Brice & Father Harrison Huntley, Older Brother Maurice "Reese" Brice, & Older Sister Jackie.

Keith leaves to cherish his precious memories of 3 sons, Brandon, Keith, and Kendale. 1 sister, Jessie Mae Marshall, 8 Grandchildren Brandon Jr, Brandy, Summer, Keith Jr, Kemonte, Ashton, Autumn, and Kyree. 2 Daughters-in-law Brianna Brice & Shanel Peterson-Barber, and a host of other relatives & friends.
