I don´t think I ever saw Keith without that huge beautiful grin on his face. Even when I hired him and Mike to help clean out our attic 11 years ago, he made a funny wise crack when he bumped his head on my short attic roof while carrying out a box. He always made me laugh! He had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I have ever met and was always ready to lend a helping hand when needed. Watching him grow up over the years was true magic and I am so thankful for the incredible friendship he gave my son and others over the years. Life is never fair and his passing makes no sense. He´s now part of a greater purpose that only he knows now. The love in this family was always present and was a true joy to watch. My condolences to his entire family and everyone who loved him. May his beautiful soul soar high!

Keith was a shining example of what humanity could be. Considerate to a fault, hard working, kind, passionate, intelligent and could carry a conversation as well as a tune. Tall, dark, and handsome; funny and supremely talented in his musical endeavors. He was a fierce competitor when it mattered, but most enjoyably when it was just for bragging rights. Keith was smart enough to be a copyright attorney, but never needed accolades. He was always content to do his best and knew what he could deliver and boy did he deliver. Every day. He loved Syd in the way everyone deserves to be loved. He was "the best uncle" according to his nephew, and probably won some brother and son of the year awards along the way.
Keith contained multitudes. He could be a calming anchor, or the catalyst to a legendary party. He was just as comfortable spending a Sunday morning on the couch with Syd, the cats and a good book as he was at a tailgate. There was never a room or stage that was not brighter from his presence in it, and I count myself so fortunate for being able to bask in his light for so many years.
He always said yes to helping. He was the kind of guy who would help you help someone else, someone that he maybe didn't even know. There's a famous Fred Rogers quote about looking for the helpers, and with Keith around, you never had to look far.
Keith was so fearless. He was willing and able to share his music with us, which is as personal as opening your diary to the world. His willingness to be vulnerable through artistic expression is such an incredible inspiration and his recordings will serve as a cherished gift to be able to hear his voice whenever we need. He was my go-to for finding new music and I'm so thankful for the expanded library. He was the best karaoke duet partner.
The world always needs more people like him, but there was only one Keith. Whether or not I wanted to or not, he always made me laugh and I love him for that. He gave us all so much. I'll miss my friend, but I'll cherish the memories and continue to tell his stories.
