Keith Ribble McDonald - husband, father, grandfather - died peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at his residence in the Hampton at Tanglewood in Houston, TX. He was 95.
Keith was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 29, 1918. He was the only child of David and Virginia McDonald. The family moved to Miami before finally settling in Houston, which Keith called home.
After graduating from San Jacinto High School, Keith served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, of which he was always very proud. Keith spent his entire career in the wholesale hardware business, retiring 30 years ago.
Keith was widowed in 1996 after 40 years of marriage to Dorothy Morden McDonald. In 2000, Keith married his high school sweetheart, Mary Margaret Perry McDonald.
Keith is survived by his wife, Mary Margaret; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Cindy McDonald of Burke VA; his son, Kyle McDonald of Sugarland TX; and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Lynn McDonald.
Keith will be buried in a graveside ceremony at the Forest Park Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 13, 2015. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
