Keith Edward McGinness

Keith Edward McGinness, age 47, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024. Keith was born on November 19, 1976, in Belleville, IL, a son of Rick and Kimberly (Zeigler) McGinness of Collinsville, IL.

Keith will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, friend and a hardworking entrepreneur who never met a stranger. He was the owner of Kemco Holding and he also worked as a real estate agent for 360 Prime Realty. He enjoyed working on his many rental properties and listening to the music of his favorite band, The Beatles. Keith also had a special place in his heart for animals. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and hanging out with his friends. Keith will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Joshua McGinness; grandparents, John & Betty McGinness and Rose & Harold Zeigler; and by his faithful companion, Julius.

In addition to his loving parents, Keith is survived by the love of his life, Kari McGinness of Kansas City, MO; dear brother, Nicholas (Amanda) McGinness of Muskego, WI; proud uncle to Andrew, Kayla, Lily and Jenna; uncles, Charles McGinness, Timothy Zeigler and Steven Zeigler; fur baby, Vada; extended family and many friends.

Keiths's wishes were to be cremated and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Catty Shack in Hamel, IL "Cat Rescue" or a local animal shelter.
