Kelly DRADER

I am so shocked at hearing this news. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Kelly was the best boss I ever had. He gave me my first break in the Oil and Gas industry. He was a genuine guy. He will truly be missed. He opened a door for me and I will always remember his laughter and easy going attitude. I am shocked to hear the news now and wish I was there to give my support to his family and friends. RIP my boss and dear friend.

I am very saddened to hear of the loss of your husband, father and brother. I remember Kelly as a mischevious little boy throwing rocks at me on our walks home from kindergarten, through our first few years at Eugene Coste, then again high school and university years, where he met Jan. I've been thinking of all these memories over the past few days and how very sorry I am for your loss.

I have had the priviledge of working with Kelly at Advantage/Longview for the past 6-1/2 years and he always had a bright smile and a hello when you met him in the hallways. I learned a lot from Kelly during the years we were associated and enjoyed his positive outlook on life and friendship that we shared at the Enerplus organization. Jan, I will forever remember you cuddled in Kelly's arms with your head buried in his chest scared to death to look out as we ascended the Eiffel tower. I am so sorry that we will not be able to attend the service on Friday and want you to know that our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

I'm so very shocked and sorry to hear of Kelly's passing. I worked for Kelly at Enerplus and Advantage over a ten year period. He was always so full of enthusiasm and energy. He was a great boss and always cared about his employees. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this most difficult time. My you find peace with the knowledge that he will forever live in the hearts of so many people who loved and respected him.

So sorry to hear of your loss. We loved our visits with the family when we had a chance to be in Calgary. He was an amazing father, husband and son-in-law for Uncle Vic and Aunty Bev. Kelly was one of my best friends. We met each other in E.P. Scarlett High school and reconnected as early morning Golf buddies at Willowpark G and CC 18 years ago. Kelly was always willing to give someone a hand up and hired Michelle to start her in a career transition in to Land. We spent many hours during and after Golf talking about the oil industry, life and family. He inspired me to start my company by giving us our first deal, but most of all through encouragement and advice that carried on through the last 8 years. I always knew I could call Kelly and get an educated and strait answer. I finally convinced him to join our board just a year and half ago. He was a great addition and will be missed by all of the directors and staff.

To Jan, Ginny, Natalie and David, please know as I am sure you do how much he truly loved all of you. Our deepest sympathy for your loss from all of us at Painted Pony, as well as from Michelle and I. I will really miss my Dear friend and advisor.

May the peace of God be with him and those left behind.

My deepest condolences go out to the Drader family. Kelly was my business partner, loyal friend, advisor, and a man I grew to love as a brother over a twenty five year period. He showed great concern for the business, the employees, and the shareholders. We faced many trials together and he met each one head on with an unusual strong will to beat the challenge.

On a personal note his concern for my family and I will be remembered for the rest of my life. The world lost a great man on Saturday. I pray that his family find comfort and peace with the memories they have of being so close to this larger than life family oriented man who left all too soon.

It was an honor to work for Kelly. He also provided me with several opportunities though out my career. I had enormous respect for his extremely creative mind. He was always kind, respectful and always had an open door and an available ear. I will deeply miss him. It was privilege and pleasure to work as Natural Gas Liquids Consultant for both Advantage and Longview. Mr.Drader was enthusiastic, interested, and supportive. My sympathies to his loving Family, he was a fine man.

He was instrumental in my career. He gave me a shot out of high school. Let me work through college and then gave me the best reference anyone could ever ask for. Without him my family would not be where it is today. He will be greatly missed. He has touched many lives and made this world a better place.

I had a pleasant and stimulating dinner with Kelly only a couple of weeks before his passing. He was his usual vibrant self. He and I share many values and views about life and business. I will miss his smile and our great conversations.

My condolences to you all, words cannot describe your loss, just know many understand. I knew Kelly since little league baseball in Haysboro and our professional paths crossed many times over the ensuing 50 years. Kelly was bright, articulate and always had an interesting perspective. But I found early on he had a deep passion for his family and faith, and he shared this with me on many occassions. He had a moral compass that kept him balanced and on course.
