Kelly Ecker Obituary
Kelly is survived by her parents, Tony and Pat Leturgez of Terre Haute; sons, Tom Kelly, Kevin Gibson, Jr., and Liam Ecker; a sister, Kathy Sturgeon and husband Roger of Terre Haute; brothers, Ron Arney, Jr. and wife Rena of Tuscon, AZ; Kevin Arney and wife Penny of Coconut Creek, FL; and Scott Leturgez and wife Jenney of Terre Haute; an aunt, Nancy DalSasso and husband Garry of Clinton; several grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, October 11, at Cross Lane Church, with Pastor Dustin Spitler officiating. Visitation will be held from 10a.m. on Saturday until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kelly's name to CODA, 4470 S. Houseman Street, Terre Haute, IN 47802. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net

I want Kelly's family, friends, and all who loved her so much to know you are in the many thoughts and prayers of so many people across Indiana...and the entire country. I knew none of you, but this story has and will continue to be on my mind. That baby boy...I cannot stop thinking of him. I pray the memories you shared with her find you some comfort during this tragic time and beyond. She sounds like the very kind of nurse I would have loved to work beside. Kelly, you were such a warm lovely person. It is hard to convey the impact you had on those with whom you worked- your fellow nurses, physicians and certainly the patients. My heart breaks for your family. All who knew you will miss you.

I loved Kelly...my heart is breaking. I was apart of her ICU family, she would do anything for her co-workers (who she would all call her friends). Very loving and fun personality. I will be praying for her family, especially Liam. Lots of fond memories; she was an amazing woman.

My son passed away a month ago and he spent a week in the ICU and Kelly was his nurse . She was the most compassionate, supportive nurse I have ever had the pleasure to meet . She was good to my son and my family. She will be missed so much. She was our angel.

Kelly intervened on my mother's behalf when she was in ICU a few years ago. She was our advocate and helped get my mother the emergency surgery she needed to save her life. Thanks to her my mother is still here. I am so very sorry for your loss. I am praying for you.

I worked with Kelly a few years ago in ICU, she was a wonderful person to work with and be around. She was an Excelent nurse.
