Kelly Harris

Harris, I still remember when I was told. Just heard rock you like a hurricane and thought of you. You burned me and a few other students the CD. I told you, even after I got out of school in 2007 and would constantly sneak in and disrupt class, that you are my mentor. You met me at the worst part of my life and helped me escape the darkness. Still, the only story I ever finishwas in your class. You're missed Harris. Got a daffy tattoo for you. I got married and moved to California. I have a 12 year old daughter. I can only hope she meets someone to help her like you did with me. Still only write in pen.

Kelly,
You were such a powerful influence on Sam's love for the discus and English. Your written words were deep, and in the midst of the smog of my thoughts, always have stayed with me. Thank you for touching the lives of your students and know your memory leaves a sprinkling of joy in our lives.

Kelly I think of you often and how many lives you've touched , young and old. Thank you for words of wisdom , experience , strength and hope. You will be forever missed??

We had our first throwing practice, that I helped coach. I wish you could see what you started at reed.
I love you, and will never forget the positive way you turned my life around when I was far along the wrong path.

Mr. Harris, you were an incredible teacher, friend and mentor. You are truly be the most influential person I've come across in my life. All of my light and love goes out to your family. I am honored to have been one of your students.

Thank you, Mr. Harris, for taking me on as your student aid. I have learned so much from you (I can think of how I've applied knowledge from you today) and I couldn't be more grateful. You are dearly missed and your legacy will go on to educate many. I may go on to teach one day, and I hope a bit of you shines through my teaching style. God bless you, Mr. Harris.

Nicole, Carol and I are very distraught over the tragic loss you have suffered.

We know how strong both you and Lance are but take heart with the knowledge that Kelly will always be with both of you.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Kelly put so many smiles on Sam's face and instilled a courage in him to believe in himself. This influence was seen as Sam learned to throw the discus, write short stories, but not only those tangible things, but, his heart to show up as strong and capable person. We are grateful for the time Kelly spent with Sam and know that all though he is not here in the fleshly body, he will always be in our hearts and thoughts. May God bring you peace at this time.

Mr Harris was a teacher of mine. I was extremely fond of him and cherish the close relationship we had. His humor and charisma could light up a room. I think that teachers sometimes don't realize what an impact they have on their student's life. I can say for certain that he had an impact on mine. Much love and condolences to Nicole, Lance, and the rest of your family.

We are greatly saddened to hear of Kelly's passing. We spent many good years in Boy Scouts with Kelly and his family. You are in our prayers

The Lord is my shepherd - He makes me lie down in green pastures - He restores my soul! Oh to rest in Him!!

Having been recently widowed myself, my heart walks heavily with Kelly's family in these difficult days. Praying especially for Nicole and Lance words of the Psalmist: "The pains of death surrounded me, I found trouble and sorrow. Then I called upon the name of the Lord: "O Lord, I implore You, deliver my soul!" Gracious is the Lord,and righteous; yes our God is merciful. "For You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears and my feet from falling. I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living. (Ps. 116) Praying God's grace and comfort for all the family.
