Dr. Pritchett was a Southern Baptist Minister who served many churches in Middle and Southwest Georgia. His last church before retirement was Broad Street Baptist where he served as senior pastor for twenty-five years. After retirement, he continued to be active in interim ministry and pulpit supply. He was very active both locally and statewide holding numerous positions. He served as moderator of three Baptist Associations, and was a member on several committees of the Georgia Baptist Convention including the executive and administrative committees. He preached revivals all over Georgia and was a soul winner, leading many to salvation throughout his ministry.
Dr. Kelly Pritchett was honored as he was selected "Citizen of the Year" in 2016. He was a graduate of Middle Georgia College, Mercer University and Luther Rice Seminary where he received his masters and doctorate degrees. He also attended Southwest Baptist Seminary.
