WHEELER, Kelly Lee
Dec. 24, 1959 - March 12, 2013
'An Inspiration to us all'
Kelly Wheeler passed away peacefully at home in Cameron Park, CA with friends and family at her side. It was important to Kelly as she strived to be able to see her young son reach his 18th birthday and to graduate from high school and she did. It was a very proud day as her son Cameron graduated class of 2012 from Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs.

Kelly had a most amazing and beautiful outlook on life and always saw the best in everything and everyone around her each and every day. She reached out during her battle to those all around her sharing her thoughts and prayers and her strong positive attitude. She loved sewing, knitting and using these talents she donated hats she created to the cancer society and also made dresses to send to underprivileged children. Cooking and baking was a great love of hers also, when family and friends would visit she always had something deliciously wonderful waiting. She truly was an Inspiration to us all and will greatly be missed by those who loved her dearly.

Kelly was born in Vallejo, CA. on December 24, 1959 to Jim and Clair O'Donnell; she grew up in Vallejo and attended Springstowne Jr. High and Hogan Senior High School and later moved to Cottonwood, CA graduating from Anderson High School in 1978. She had spent 25 years working in the insurance industry and loved working and being around people.

She is survived by her loving husband Jim Wheeler and her wonderful son Cameron Michael Miller of Cameron Park, CA; mother Clair O'Donnell of Vallejo, CA; father Jim O'Donnell of Gold Beach, OR; brother Mike O'Donnell of Vallejo, CA and brother Joe O'Donnell of Midland, TX. A memorial service will be held for family and friends Tuesday March 19 at 10:00am at Rolling Hills Church in El Dorado Hills, CA. at 800 White Rock Road. Please call Dana Guzman at 530-306-0194 for any information and or details. Rolling Hills Church 916-939-3527. Today it has been two orbits (3-12-13) since Kelly O'Donnell-Wheeler lost her long battle to cancer. She is constantly remembered for her bravery, her strength and her deep caring nature in all ways for everyone and the world around her. She will forever be in our hearts and minds throughout time and beyond. Her energy exists and forever flows throughout the ether of this Universe along with her father James O'Donnell whose energy left this Planet Earth an orbit ago March 6th 2014. They are together and our love for them will always be. Peering into the brilliant evening sky night after night only enhances that love as there energy touches us as it flows throughout all Time, Matter and Space.

To my Sister and my Father -- I love you and miss you

Happy Saint Patrick's Day my Kelly girl. This is your Irish day! I know we talked so much about this time in Life that it is still unreal to me your not here in body. Us becoming friends in 7th grade was the best and our friendship carried on for 40 years thereafter. With so many many memories and times we share and have talked about up until just recently, there was a true connection we had and will have forever. My heart goes out to Cameron your special loving Son you adored so much; Cameron will always be a part of our lives here. Meeting Jim was a blessing in your life. He loves you so much.

Your family, Mom, Dad, Mike and Joe and everyone; knowing my heart is with each of you.

Your wit and sense of humor was beyond most and I wish everyone could have engaged in your funny talents! We just clicked with each other and we were always on the same thought pattern LOL!

I am missing you my Kelly Girl, you were strong oh so strong during this time for many of the 12 years you continued to fight to move forward with Life...Cameron always made it a bit easier for you.

You deserve to rest now Kelly; I know you didn't want to yet but please know how much you were loved by all.

As we said always! CHA-CHING!! we loved being in this zone as we called it..$$. along with so much more!!

Forever with you Kelly Lee.
Your friend Daryl aka "Harold"...we still don't know where that came from but you called me that! I love you.

Dear Kelly, your pain and suffering is over now though you left us far too soon. While you allowed us to follow you on your life's journey you taught us all how to live life to the fullest and as dark as the day may seem, you continued to inspire us with your sense of humor and positive attitude. We will miss you immensely but now we know we have another star in heaven. May God be with you now and forever.
