Kelsey Greiner Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 27, 2024.
Kelsey James Greiner, age 30, passed away with family by his side, March 18, 2024, in North Augusta, SC.

Kelsey was like the sun in the sky, he always radiated warmth and happiness, drawing everyone towards him with his kind and caring nature. He had a passion for making the world a better place and touched the lives of many. Kelsey was the best cat dad to Norman Greiner. He was the younger brother of Kennedy Greiner. He was proud of him and all his accomplishments. Kelsey loved being an older brother to his sisters. He was so proud of his sister Ashley Lall and would tell everyone she was a doctor. He adored his baby sister Isabella Lopez and would say daily that they were twins and gym work out buddies. Kelsey loved his mom, Christin Barr, more than words could ever express. He would often refer to himself as the favorite child, but he always spoke about her with nothing but respect and love. Kelsey loved his Farther Karl Greiner; he admired him so much and wanted to be like him in many ways. Kelsey was never shy about showing people pictures of his family or talking about how much they meant to him His joyful and goofy personality brought light to those around him, whether he was singing in the car, kayaking, or traveling to new places.

He is survived by his mother Christin Barr and stepfather Josh Barr, his father Karl Greiner and stepmother Dana Greiner, his brother Kennedy Greiner, and sisters Ashley Lall and Isabella Lopez, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and maternal and paternal grandparents. Kelsey loved his family fiercely and cherished each of them deeply.

Kelsey is preceded in death by his younger sister Emily Lall and Nana, Charlene Greiner.

I met Kelsey for the first time in 2004. He was 10 years old with his 11th birthday soon approaching. He was a very tenacious kid and always wanting to show you something; an insect that he found or a new trick he was practicing on his skateboard. He was a sweet kid with a big heart. Everyone loved him and he loved everyone. My condolences to the family. I pray for peace beyond understanding and hope that you find swift comfort knowing that you will see him again in the afterlife.
