Kelvin Harris

HARRIS KELVIN Passed away peacefully at home on September 1, 2009 after a short struggle with cancer and with his loving family caring for him as he had wished. He is survived by his wife, Peggy; six children, sons, David (Dale) near Smithers, Tom (Bev) of Smithers, Ross (Cathy) of Prince George; daughters, Nancy Edwards (Brian) of Squamish, Megan Harris (Mike van den Heuvel) of Prince Edward Island and Sheila Girvin (Matt) of Campbell River. He is also survived by fifteen loving grandchildren. Kel was born in Lethbridge and moved to BC at the age of seven, where he spent the rest of his life except for six years with the Canadian Army during World War Two. During his war service he was wounded while serving in Nijmegen, Holland. He spent twenty seven happy years of his life living in Pemberton, B.C. before retiring to Victoria and later seventeen years ago to Penticton. No Service by Request.
