DURHAM, Ken 45 years on September 12, 2002 at home after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family and friends. Loving husband and best friend of Colleen (nee Talbot). Devoted and dedicated Dad to Adam, Andrew and Alex all at home. Predeceased by his parents Nellie (1990) and Herman (1991). Beloved brother of Wayne and wife Cathy and Francis. Dear son-in-law to Barbara Talbot and the late Leo (1998). Special brother-in-law to Wayne Talbot, Elaine and husband Mike Manser, Leona and husband Larry Dryer, Maureen and husband Terry Allen, Debbie and husband Mike Olievier, Dan and wife Marge Talbot, Leo Paul and wife Carmen Talbot, Randy and wife Marilyn Talbot, Nadine and husband Dan Janisse, Jackie and husband Rick Allen. Will be missed dearly by many nieces, nephews. and great nieces and nephews. Ken was employed at the General Motors Transmission Plant for over 22 years and will be greatly missed by his fellow co-workers. One of Ken's greatest loves in life was wood working in the garage with his boys and friends. Family and friends will be received at the James H. Sutton Funeral Home, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg on Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9p.m. Prayers at 8p.m. Funeral Monday September 16, 2002 at 9:30a.m. to St. John The Baptist Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00a.m. Interment St. John The Baptist Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy donations may be made to Hospice or the Education Fund for Adam, Andrew and Alex. A tree will be planted in memory of Ken Durham in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady, Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held in the Fall of 2003. All are welcome.
