Kendall Mycah Parson

Kendall Mycah Parson, born on September 23rd of 2010, in Portsmouth, Virginia, passed away on April 4th of 2025, in San Diego, California. At just 14 years old, Kendall's life was a vibrant mosaic of creativity, curiosity, and a boundless spirit that touched all who knew him.

Kendall loved to travel and at a very early age had already explored many states and lived in MD, VA, TX, and CA, making countless friends effortlessly with his infectious personality.

From birth, he had a strong connection with the water. He was always eager for an adventure to the beach, pool, and waterparks. His love for water and travel, eventually introduced him to cruising. He traveled the world with his mother to places such as Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, St. Marteen, St. Thomas, and Honduras, filling every experience with exploration, learning of new cultures, adventures, and lifelong memories.

He enjoyed making friends on the football team, basketball court, and in the boxing gym. Kendall's fearless nature also made him a thrill seeker who loved visiting amusement parks and riding roller coasters.

From an early age, Kendall displayed a remarkable talent for building and design. As a mini master Lego builder, he brought imagination to life with intricate creations that reflected both precision and playfulness. His passion for constructing miniature worlds was more than a hobby-it was a form of expression that captivated family and friends.

Kendall also had an expansive love for music. A true fan of all genres, he found joy in the rhythms and melodies that spanned generations and cultures. Whether he was dancing to upbeat soca and reggae tunes; quietly listening to soulful gospels; swaying to harmonies of the 60s and 70s; to shouting hard rock; or a constant rhythmic head nodding to rap, music was a constant companion in his life-a source of comfort, inspiration, and connection.

Though Kendall's time with us was far too brief, his memory lives on through the joy he brought into the world-his infectious giggle of a laughter shared with all still echo with his spirit.

Kendall is survived by his mom, Afeerah Robinson; dad, Leon Parson; three brothers, Dezmond Ward, Dorien Parson, and Tristen Parson; cousins, Alana Wright, James Wright, Audrey Wright, Jonathan Mirabal Jr, Malakhi Thompson, Jasiya Harris, and Ava Cruz; maternal grandparents, Mohamed Haimanchandra and Margaret Haimanchandra; and paternal grandparents, Charles and Toni Mobley; and many more loving aunts and uncles.
