I am sorry to learn of the loss of Kenny. He was my first and best friend when my family moved to Quilliams Rd. hill in 1961. As a preschooler, I remember the home at Woodridge and Quilliams under construction and paid visits by tricycle to see if there would soon be any kids to play with in the house. Through the years at Noble Rd. School he was the loyalist of friends. I'm remembering some of our field trips: once to the Cleveland auto show with his Dad and Uncle; another time to Huron with my Dad for a boat ride on the Huron River; yet another trip to the Zoo with his Mom. After my family moved to South Euclid in 1970, I saw Kenny one more time at Higbee Severance. He was so glad we bumped into each other. RIP, loyal friend.

I'm sorry to hear of Ken passing now almost 3 years ago. Ken was a good friend in our childhood years, we lived across the street from his family on Woodridge. So many good childhood memories of activities with Ke n and neighborhood friends. It was a different time in childhood and will always cherish the memories with Ken in that special time of life. Sadly, we did not keep in touch in later years, but will always have great memories of Ken Bricker.

While looking for information on my old neighborhood, I've learned of Ken's passing. I knew Ken growing up in Cleveland Heights. I was five years old when my family moved to the Heights and Ken was the first kid on the block to befriend me and make me feel welcome. We were close buddies through our school years. Time brought new jobs, families, relocations, etc. We last saw each other at Mrs. Bricker's funereal. But I'll always remember him as he was in those years growing up in the Heights. A big, nice affable guy. Gentle giant is a term that fit Ken. RIP, buddy.
