Ken was always a good and reliable man. I'm sure he is missed by those still working at Wassaic DDSO.

I knew Ken at Union College and we met Trudy from Skidmore on weekends at the Ski Club. "Never fear, Trudy's here", was Trudy's favorite saying. I loved them both. RIP.

The man was a wealth of information. He always had an anticdote, an intersting observation, historical tidbit or peculiar slant on a situation. I hadn't seen him in years and yet on a return visit to Po'town, a chance meeting in Stop'N'Shop's parking lot, it was as if we were back at Wassaic returning from lunch (late)..." Ya know I just read a NY Times piece about an article in Time..", "Do you know where the button factory was, not far from Smith Bros.?"... His pensive, upward glance, adjusting his glasses and chuckling laugh. Thinking Ken makes me smile. Say hi to Orb. My condolences.

We at the "wonderful world of Willoughby's",as Ken so affectionately called us , are truly sad to hear of his passing. He brightened our day when he came to our office and we always enjoyed hearing about the history of Poughkeepsie! A great man who will missed by many, so happy to have known him. Our condolences, The staff at Dr. Willoughby's

Ken was a part of my childhood, his parents were like my own. So, he was much like a brother to me, and I will miss him as I would a well loved brother.I remember the playful side of him, He used to tease me without mercy, but I looked up to him, knowing it was just his way to show attention Ken had a kind heart, I remember the night he brought Trudy home to meet hid Mom and Dad, the pride on his face, that he had won the love of this special woman, they were a perfect team, as his parents were. Well done Ken.

Ken was a special talented caring individual who will surely be missed by all who knew him. I will always remember watching him as he scurried down the sidewalk with his coat tails flapping behind, but always able to slow for a hello, with a great big smile and a little trivia!

My memories of Ken are quite a few. He and 'Trudy' were such positive and encouraging people. I first met Ken at Poughkeepsie High School and later on at quite a few community events. I extend my sympathy to Kenneth R. Briggs III and his family.

So sorry to hear of Ken's passing. Remember working with Ken - you would know the minute he entered the building, a light would go on and people started smiling, laughing. He loved the old city of Poughkeepsie. We had a meeting one day in a snow storm, roads were terrible but instead of taking lunch, Ken drove me all around Poughkeepsie, pointing out special architectural gems, places of history, all with a story to tell - something Ken did very well. He was a pleasure to work with and a unique person to know. Rest in Peace, Ken!
