KENNETH CARROLL Obituary
Ken is survived by his children, Randy, Lori, and Lisa (Darren), grandchildren, James, Tyler, Emily (Matthew), and his companion, Roberta. Survived by his siblings, Phil (Donna), Bob (Cheryl), Tim (Connie), Becky (Ron) and many nieces, nephews, and special extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Thomas, beloved Leola, and siblings Victoria and James.
Ken was a member and Past Master of Minneapolis Lodge No.19, Ancient, Free, and Accepted Masons where he was a 42-year member and the recipient of the Hiram Award. He belonged to the York Rite bodies, the Scottish Rite, the Shrine, and many groups where memberships were by invitation only. Having served over a dozen organizations as presiding officer, Ken was elected and served as Grand Commander of Knights Templar in Minnesota and was a 33rd Degree Mason in the Scottish Rite. In addition, he was Past Associate Guardian of Bethel 41, St. Louis Park and Past Associate Grand Guardian of the International Order of Job's Daughters.
Ken will be remembered for his generous heart and compassion- especially for those in need.
He was a skilled Carpenter, Mechanic, Electrician, Philosopher, Artist, Teacher, Mentor, and the finest host for his Happy Place, the Cabin at the Lake.
His Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Minnesota Masonic Heritage Center, 11411 Masonic Home Dr, Bloomington, MN 55405
