Kenneth “Kenny” Albert Cline, 68, passed away Dec. 7, 2007, while in the company of family members at his residence in McPherson, Kan. The funeral service was Dec. 13 Glidden-Ediger Chapel, McPherson, Kan. Chaplain Scott Watford officiated. Burial was at McPherson Cemetery, with veterans burial rites presented by American Legion Post No. 24 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2715, both of McPherson, Kan. He was born in Enid Nov. 22, 1939, the son of the late Manred and Beulah M. (Birchan) Cline. He graduated from Enid High School in 1957. He later served in the U.S. Navy as an IC3. He worked as a machinist at Bradbury Corporation in Moundridge, Kan. He was united in marriage to Shari L. (Crane) Stewart June 23, 2001, in McPherson, Kan. He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Barbara Jean Accoin; a granddaughter, Halee N. Cline; and a stepson, Stephen C. Stewart. Mr. Cline is survived by his mother, Beulah Cline of Midwest City; his wife, Shari L. Cline; a daughter, Patricia Cline of Oklahoma City; five sons, Kenneth “Corky” Cline and wife Marla of Medford, Thomas Cline, Scott Cline of Edmond, John Cline of Midwest City and Justin Cline of McPherson, Kan.; three sisters, Dorothy Ritz and husband James, Mary Kennon and husband Roy of Independence, Mo., and Phyllis Jacobs and husband Jay of Bethany; a brother, Charles Cline and wife Donna of California; four stepdaughters, Ashley Stewart of McPherson, Kan., Katelyn Stewart of McPherson, Kan., Rocky Darrah of Kan., and Jamie Darrah of Kansas; three stepsons, Samuel Darrah and wife Maria of Kansas, Gary Darrah of Kansas and Vincent Darrah of Kansas; 26 grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Memorial contributions may be given to Kenneth Cline Memorial Fund in care of Glidden-Ediger Funeral Home, 222 W. Euclid St., McPherson, Kan., 67460.
