Virginia Beach - Evelyn Trail Conaway, born Evelyn Marie Brazofsky, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brazofsky, died in Virginia Beach on February, 4, 2017 after a lengthy illness. A native of Tams, West Virginia and resident of Virginia Beach, she will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many with a smile that could light up any room. Everyone was a friend to her and she wouldn't hesitate to engage anyone in a pleasant conversation. She retired after a 20 year career as an employee of QVC. She was pre-deceased by husband Thomas Ray Trail, Sr. and sister Dorothy Kresse and survived by current husband Mr. James W. Conaway of Virginia Beach. She is also survived by her sons Thomas Ray Trail, Jr. and wife Karen, Timothy J. Trail and wife Jill of Chesapeake, Joseph R. Trail and wife Karen of Cape Coral, Florida and daughter Joanne Trail Ferraro and partner David Skahill of Norfolk and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Waterford Assisted Living Facility in Virginia Beach for their care and blessings. A graveside service will be held on February, 15, 2017 at 1:00 pm with Woodlawn Funeral home entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the charity of your choice in her memory.
