Kenneth R. DeCamp, age 67, of Savona, NY passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. Ken was born August 11, 1947 in Corning, NY to the late Ivan and Beulah (Davis) DeCamp. He married Judy Dennison in August of 1997.

Ken worked for Corning Incorporated his entire career, retiring after 35 years of service. When Ken was not working, he enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, hunting, camping, and wood-working. He was an avid NASCAR fan, but also enjoyed gardening with his wife and spending quality time with his best four legged friend, Buddy. Ken was also an active member with the Savona Rod and Gun Club along with the Campbell American Legion.

Ken is survived by his wife, Judy (Dennison) DeCamp of Savona, NY; two daughters: Kellie (Mike) Hammer of Corning, NY and Kristina (Doug) Cornell of Savona, NY; one son: Kevin (Melody) DeCamp of Corning, NY; four brothers: Gordon A. DeCamp of Painted Post, NY, Douglas (Sharon) DeCamp of Ocala, FL, Harold (Sarah Richtmyer) DeCamp of Elmira, NY and Darold DeCamp of Beaver Dams; two step-daughters: Carrie (Ron) Stiles of Painted Post, NY and Christal (Scott) Wheeler of Campbell, NY; two step-sons: Paul Tyler Jr. of Corning, NY and Robert (Heather) Tyler of Gibson, NY; four grandchildren: Dalton Tyler of Corning, NY, Kolston and McKinley DeCamp of Corning, NY and Adalynn Cornell of Savona, NY; thirteen step-grandchildren: Bruce (Toni) Larrison of Lindley, NY, Benjamin (Krystie) Larrison of Bradford, NY, Tyler and Kayla Stiles of Painted Post, NY, Ashley and Robert Wheeler of Campbell, NY, Alexis and Donovan Tyler of Gibson, NY, Kayla, Brittany and Brandon Lingo of Gibson, NY, Cassie Hammer of Corning, NY, Elaina Cornell of Savona, NY; step-great-grandchildren: Carsen, Bryce, and Trey Larrison of Corning, NY, along with several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his grandson, Mason Cornell, and his step-great-grandson Gavin Larrison.

Family and friends are invited to call at Phillips Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 17 W. Pulteney St. Corning, NY 14830 on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from noon-2:00PM. Funeral services will immediately follow with his brother, Rev. Harold DeCamp officiating.

to all of Kenny's family..We only knew Ken for the past few years, as fellow campers at Babcock Hollow Campground..We will always remember him and "Buddy" out on their daily golf cart rides to visit everyone..Sincerely sorry for your loss....Jeff and Jean Barron
