Mr. Kenneth was like a father to me. He is a great man and treated like on of his own. Many memories of weekends at the house and trips in the van. Wish I could have thank him for all his kindness. Hopefully one day I can. Love towards his family from mine.

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years.
May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

For twenty-two years
This sailor has stood the watch
While some of us were in our bunks at night
This sailor stood the watch
While some of us were in school learning our trade
This shipmate stood the watch
Yes.. even before some of us were born into this world
This shipmate stood the watch
In those years when the storm clouds of war were seen brewing on the horizon of history
This shipmate stood the watch
Many times he would cast an eye ashore and see his family standing there
Needing his guidance and help
Needing that hand to hold during those hard times
But he still stood the watch
He stood the watch for twenty-two years
He stood the watch so that we, our families and
Our fellow countrymen could sleep soundly in safety, Each and every night
Knowing that a sailor stood the watch
Today we are here to say
'Shipmate... the watch stands relieved
Relieved by those You have trained, Guided, and Led
Shipmate you stand relieved.. we have the watch..."

Suzie and family -
Death takes the body,
God takes the soul,
Our hearts keep their love,
Our faith reassures we will meet again.
God bless and comfort all of you who loved Ken. He was our friend and shipmate who we will always remember for his sense of humor, his sharing of his sea stories, but mostly for the love he had and professed for Suzie and his family. My favorite memory will always be his delight in telling us about Suzie and their pursuit of the perfect gift for those boys who he dearly loved.
We miss him already!

Shared a duplex at Newport with Ken and his wonderful wife and two boys While we were in the Navy. We became great friends and shared most everything. He was a fine man with a wonderful sense of humor. Although we have not seen this wonderful family in years we have managed to stay connected. Ken my friend ,you will be missed. Suzy ,Scott and Michael, be assured you had a wonderful father and husband. Thank you all for the wonderful memories.
