KENNETH C. ENO - BURLINGTON - Ken Eno, 83, died Monday, March 3, 2014, in Fletcher Allen Health Care of complications from Alzheimer's disease. He was born in Burlington, July 6, 1930, the son of Harold and Evelyn Eno. Ken grew up in Burlington and graduated from UVM. He worked as an auditor for the government and later for Continental Can Company. He lived in Pennsylvania, New York City, Connecticut and Paris. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. The last 20 years he has resided in Colchester. Ken loved art, theater and traveled extensively. Over the years, Ken enjoyed companionship with his many adopted feline friends who were an important part of his life. Ken was predeceased by his mother and father; and his former partner of 17 years, Charles Lang. He is survived by his brother, Harold Eno of Claremont, Calif.; sister, Linda Knight and her husband, Stephen, of South Burlington; five nieces, Christine Allaire, Sarah Knight, Kim Kuhmeier, Donna Walker, and Patty Scimea; and great-nieces and nephews. Jay Granner of India was a special person in Ken's life and was with Ken in thoughts and prayers when unable to be here with him. The family thanks Jay for his ongoing care and support. A graveside memorial service with family and friends will be held in the spring in Burlington. Arrangements are in the care of the Cremation Society of Chittenden County, a division of the Ready Family, Burlington.
