Kenneth Paul Estes passed away on October 13, 2018 at the age of 78. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mirella, his sons Paul and Patrick Estes and his daughter Lovanna(Andre)Ryssemus. He has four grandchildren who also captured his heart, Alexander and Abigail Ryssemus and Alexandra and Nicholas Estes.
Kenneth Paul was born and raised in Kentucky and joined the military at the age of 18. His first station assignment was overseas in Italy, where he met and married the love of his life, Mirella. Kenneth was a 20 year Army Vietnam Veteran(1965-1966) who served with the 173rd Aviation Co. He enjoyed being stationed overseas and sharing many stories of his service time and experiences in Europe. He retired from military service in 1978 and started his second career working in Civil Service at North Island Naval Air Station, CA and Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, AZ. He retired for a second time after 20 years of Civil Service working as a Ground Support Specialist. After retirement he decided to work part time for the San Diego Padres and enjoyed working in the VIP elevator meeting many celebrities and Padre baseball players.
Kenneth Paul will be greatly missed by his family and friends who enjoyed his unique laughter and humor. He had great compassion and loyalty toward his family and friends. He was a quite man with a big heart.

A visitation for Kenneth will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Glen Abbey's "Little Lodge", 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
