Kenneth Fowler Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 14, 2024.
Kenneth Joseph Fowler, 66, known to us all as "Ken" or "Kenny" unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from a heart attack. He lived in San Jose, California. Ken was born on October 2, 1957, in Antioch, California to Kenneth and Bette (Giacomel) Fowler. He attended Antioch High School and went on to graduate from California State University, Sacramento double majoring in Marketing Management and Production Control. Ken started his career as a Supply Chain Manager at Philips Semi-Conductors leaving after 23 years as Senior Director of Supply Chain Management. He then continued to JDSU as a Director of Global Planning and TE Connectivity/ELO Systems Solutions. Since 2016 he has been with NetApp as their Director of Order Fulfillment where he was deeply appreciated within his team for his hard work and success. Ken was a parishioner of St. Christopher Catholic Church where both his daughters attended school.

Ken married his wife Ellen Frances (Conroy) on July 23, 1988. Together they raised two daughters and built a beautiful life together filled with love and memories to last a lifetime. Ken loved classic rock music and had an extensive record and CD collection. He was passionate about Bay Area sports teams, 49ers, Giants and Warriors, and especially loved to attend San Francisco Giants' games with his family and friends. He had a witty and quirky sense of humor that filled a room with laughter. You could often hear him singing jingle type songs he created about everyday life; these songs are still sung by his family and loved ones, which will keep him alive in their hearts.

He is survived by his wife Ellen Frances Fowler, daughters Meghan Elizabeth (Fowler) McCurdie and Caitlin Frances (Fowler) Nicoll, his sons-in-law Eric McCurdie and Prescott Nicoll, his father Kenneth P. Fowler and his Step Siblings, Randy Bergquist (Vicki); Brad Bergquist (Cindy); Dawn Cabral (Jerry); Tracy Bergquist (Betty); Jay Bergquist (Sue). He will be greatly missed by the many people who loved him.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken's name may be made to Wounded Warrior Project. Although Ken was not a veteran himself, he had the utmost respect for those who served in the military. https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org or a charity of your choice.
