Kenneth Greene Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 18, 2025.
Kenneth Greene, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on September 18, 2025, in Fort Lauderdale, FL., after a courageous five-year battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Born with an insatiable curiosity and an unwavering love for learning, Ken excelled academically, earning his undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from the University of Tampa, solidifying his lifelong commitment to knowledge and service. His professional career, culminating as a CEO in the aerospace industry, showcased his intellect and generosity as he guided colleagues with patience, rigor, and kindness.

He was an active man who found great joy in world travel, sports and the outdoors. Whether on the tennis court, out on the water, riding his bicycle, doing yoga, taking salsa lessons or following his lifelong passion for golf, he loved staying active and engaged. A proud highlight of his golfing days was achieving three holes-in-one, a rare accomplishment that brought him immense pride and numerous smiles. He accomplished this feat at the Links at Spanish Bay, Inverness Golf and CC and Coral Ridge CC.

Beyond his accomplishments, Ken will be remembered for his infectious laugh, integrity, and unwavering devotion to his family. His true joy lay in the moments he shared with them-gathered around a table, golfing, traveling, or simply sharing stories that would forever be etched in their hearts.

He shared an incredible and devoted 19-year marriage with his beloved wife, Paola whose love and companionship brought him great joy; in the end, she was his rock and tender caretaker, a constant source of strength and comfort.

He is survived by his wife, Paola, his children, whom he loved dearly: Caty Sue, Avery, Kenny, and Hallie, and his cherished 9 grandchildren. Each of them will carry forward his legacy of warmth, wisdom, and perseverance.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal service; a private celebration of his life will be held with his immediate family.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A great man in every sense of the word. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family, friends and all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ken's memory to organizations dedicated to advancing Alzheimer's research and providing compassionate care.
