My deepest sympathies to the family of Ken Hanel. Ken always brought a smile to my face when I saw him at Valleyfair. He will truly be missed.

Ken was a great guy to talk to at Valleyfair. He always had a quip to make me laugh. He had great "cop" stories, and it was neat to hear what he had to say about his time on the job. He will be missed.

Dear Jean and family,
John and I are so sorry for the loss of your devoted husband/father and grandfather. He was a loyal friend and co-worker of John's, one he could always count on.When John saw him at Friendship Manor in December he looked very much at peace.
Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Dear Jean and family; There were so many memories of those great card parties. One time when Ken and Jim Groff were getting the dogs to bark and you trying to talk at the same time. There were some good golf trips over to Dahlgreen in those later years.

Jean and family,
Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. We will never forget moving to Madison Street, many years ago and the kindness Kenny showed to Crystal when her bike chain came off her bike.

Auntie Jean,
We will all miss our uncle Kennie. He was always an important part of all the Dahlgren projects. I'm sure he has missed being part of them these last few years. I bet God has a few things that he could remodel.May God bless you with the strength and courage you need at this time.
Love, Marty

Dear Jean and family,
You have lost a beloved husband/father/grandfather, and we have lost a beloved friend. The memorable times with him are many, but perhaps the most cherished is when Dale convinced Ken to buy the same duffle bag a second time from our garage sale(Jean had brought it back after finding it in their closet with Dales's name on it thinking it was his). We thought we'd finally put "one over on him" as he was usually the instigator of such antics. We will sorely miss him, and send our love and most sincere condolences to you all.

Dear Jean and family, I want to express my deepest sympathy on your loss. His journey is now completed here on earth and is in a much better place healthy again. I enjoyed working with him in his capacity as a respected police officer. God Bless you all turning this time of sorrow.

Dear Jean: I want to extend my condolences to you and your family.
John DuBois, Ron Carlson, and myself, stopped down and spent a few minutes with Kenny at Frienship Manor, when we were home at Christmas. After spending a few minutes with him and telling him our names, and letting him him hear our voices, I want to think he reacted to us. I also want you to know I told DuBois, and Hamilton who are also down here in Florida. God bless you and your family Jean.
