Everyone should have a Ken Harris in their children“s lives. Such a special friend to Leslie Anne Gauthier and Brenton Killingsworth at Country Day. He interviewed both for admissions and never forgot their names and made them always feel special at school and church.

I attended 53 years ago. I remember his speaking at night after dinner to all of us. Always with kind positive words, he was a wonderful Headmaster and a man of faith. RIP.

I remember the day I took our sweet Leslie Anne Gauthier now Nottingham to interview with Ken. Our Son Brenton was already a student at MCDS and Leslie was entering first grade. Ken was so adorable and kind in the way he interviewed this adorable child. I saw his grace that day. A unique man.

I remember Ken's guidance and sense of humor as MCDS Headmaster when I taught there and how much I appreciated his encouragement. Sending my love and prayers to the Harris family.

Mr. Harris was one of those rare individuals who had a way of making your day just by saying hello. He shaped my years at Miami Country Day into the special time I remember to this day. His presence and positive nature was larger than life. You will be forever missed.
