To "Boots" and family, There are no words that I can say or write to ease your sorrow, instead I offer my prayers and wide shoulders to cry on. When I started for the Disney Company years ago, Boots you were my mentor as I learned to be a uniion rep. When I transferred into Security, Ken challenged me to run for office and fight for those that I felt were wronged. Ken was a great man and a gentle soul, he will be greatly missed by us all. Dear Harris Family,
I worked with Ken at Epcot. He was such a nice man. He usually could be found in the early morning having his coffee before we all went out to our posts to work. There was was always a smile on his face. It was a pleasure to know and work with him. I hope you know that he is smiling down on all of you, the memories you have of him keep close to your heart. They will get you through the days ahead. God Bless all of you. He was a great person and I know you will miss him.

What can I say, I loved him as a DAD! That's just not enough,he was a "GREAT MAN",who LOVED his wife and was never ashamed to say it,or show it, it didn't matter who was around. You don't find many men like Ken! I can see him now, how he would look at Boot's and hold her hand, kiss her or after getting off the night shift getting ready to go to bed for the day how he would call her" MAMA". I always thought that was so sweet. I was there alot, they took me in as one of the family, and I love them both for that. . We've lost one of the "Great Men " well that's what I think! I loved him and will miss him greatly! Boot's I know how hard it is. I'm here for you any time you want to talk no matter the time just call. My condolences to the Harris family. He was one of the old timers when I joined the Disney Security family in 1977. He was a great friend too. When I first heard of his illness,I was so heart broken I told him I didn't know what to say. He said just tell me you love me. So I told him I loved him with all my heart and that I was sorry. No passing of time nor any amount of distance could ever diminish the part you and Mrs. Harris played in the best memories of my life. I loved you both dearly then as I do still today.
