Kenneth "Ken" L. Eberle, 52, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, Ken had been a truck driver with Shambaugh and Son for the last 17 years. He was a member of Zanesville United Methodist Church and the Historical Truckers Society. Ken loved watching his two boys and all their sporting activities and was active in Upward Sports. He enjoyed HO Scale Trains, cooking, building Adirondack Chairs, was an avid construction enthusiast and Colts fan. Surviving are his wife Rhonda Eberle of Markle; sons Justin and Cole Eberle; siblings Dale (Pat) Eberle, Carol Ertel both of New Haven, Sherry (Jeff) Hawkins of OH; sister-in-law Nancy Eberle of Garrett, and several nieces and nephews. Kenneth was preceded in death by father, Leonard Eberle, mother, Betty Jane Eberle, brother, Tom Eberle. Service is 10:30 am, Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue with calling one hour prior Pastor Joe Hornick officiating. Calling at the funeral home Monday, December 16, 2013 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in Markle Cemetery, Markle, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the family.
