Wallace John Arringdale M.D.

Wallace John Arringdale, M.D.W. John Arringdale, M.D. went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2016. He was born on October 31, 1937, in Boone, Iowa, to the late John and Mary Arringdale. W. John earned his premedical Bachelor's Degree from Iowa State University, and graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical School in 1965. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966-68 where he was decorated for his service in Vietnam as a medical doctor. He then graduated in 1974 as part of the first graduating class under the instruction of Dr. Denton Cooley and Dr. Ellis DeBakey. He was especially passionate about maintaining a patient centered clinical practice and spent a life-time dedicated to serving the citizens of Corpus Christi. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Dianne Arringdale.He is survived by: Carol (John) Furrer, his sister of Olympia, WA, his children: John (Jeanette) Arringdale, David (Alaina) Arringdale, and Kimberly Arringdale (Reggie Shields), and grandchildren: Alaura, Auria, and Arwen Arringdale. All are welcome to join for W. John's memorial service to be held at South Shore Christian Church at 4710 S. Alameda St. Corpus Christi, TX 78412 on June 4, 2016, at 2:00 p.m.
