I never saw Ken in a bad mood. He was always cheerful and optimistic, and he never failed to make me laugh, often until my jaw hurt. Thanks Ken.

Just cannot believe that I am writing this for my friend. Ken you were a legend to me and will be so missed. I will always remember you and you will forever be in my photo albums smiling away with me in the crew bar exchanging wild stories. Just cannot believe it. Goodbye my friend : (

Though I was 2,000 miles away, I watched Park Memorial on Google Streetview and lit a special candle during your memorial. So I was there in spirit, Ken.

Thank you, Ken, for thinking that I was a special person at a time when I did not see myself in that way. I'm sure I'm not the only one you dod that for. I wish I could have helped more. I can still see us watching July 1 fireworks over the High Level bridge. Thoush you'd seen better on your travels, you hadn't lost that awe. And thank you for making me laugh when I thought there was no reason to laugh anymore. You noticed things like that about people. I will be with you in spirit at your funeral, as I am too far away to come, And I will be thinking of you just as I did before. Sending you love, Mary Namee
