Brother Kenny has been on my heart and mind since I left Our lady of Hope. He helped spark and fuel my love for music and singing. I hope he knows how much he´s touched all of lives. May he rest peacefully.

I´m just finding out he passed, he was my dance and music instructor with Debbie Perry and Fernando. He was also my director when we did Sister Act as part of the Rainbow Players. If anyone has the VHS of Sistet act or has it on DVD please let me know [email protected] he will be truly missed.

I first met Ken as a freshman at West Catholic Boys. We became good friends then and remained that way for years. When I was in my early 20's we ran into each other on South St in Philly. He told me about doing JC Super Star to benefit a school. I was already performing in clubs in various original bands and hadn't ever tried acting let alone dancing on stage. Kenny talked me into it and I have to say it was one of the exhilarating times in my life. Don't mourn for Ken, sing and dance joyfully because I know he is up in Heaven directing the angels is some wild idea of a play he has. God was well please with Ken. He is resting peacefully.

Hi, If anyone has a copy of the JCSS play and can share it with me I want to show my kids, the amazing performance of Kenny and Fernando. I got together with Kenny a few years ago. We talked about him bringing the tape to watch the play with my family, but we never did. Kenny, you are always going to be part of us.

Summer 1985, I was a camper at Camp Cora and they hired this new drama / theater counselor.... It was Ken. I was so swept up by his infectious enthusiasm that drama became one my favorite parts of Camp Cora. He directed the summer play Jesus Christ Superstar and taught me how to play most of that soundtrack on the piano......he was awesome! RIP Ken...

Brother Kenny was my piano teacher when I went to Our Lady of Hope! I attended the school from k-5 and was a member of the choir. Brother Ken was such a strong figure in my early school memories. He was passionate and expected excellence no matter our age. I´m 27 now and running the Broad Street Run. It will be my first race and the first time I return back to Our Lady of Hope for a service since I was 10. My mind immediately went to Brother Ken and his dogs! I´m saddened to know that I just missed potentially reconnecting with him but I am sending love to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing, loving, and experiencing his light. I´ll hold his spirit in mind throughout my race.

Kenny asked me to be Mary Magdalene in JCSS play. I didn't know much English at the time, but he has faith in me. We have an amazing time performing together.

Kenny I love you. You were one of the first people to bring me out of my shell after my dad passed. Threw me to the wolves for a JCSS play. And all you said was "you have your dad's genes. You'll make it"

I have so many fond memories of my times together with Kenny in Willow Manor Players´ productions! (He always loved seeing me in a nun´s habit... even if it was for 1 crossover from stage left to stage right!)

May Kenny be received into the bosom of Abraham; may he dwell among the Saints; and may his memory be eternal.

Kenny, you sucked me into becoming a Rainbow Player 40 years ago, and I have never looked back. You, more importantly, became my friend, confident, partner in crime, and, a sounding board when I needed one. I know you are in heaven causing a ruckus and have already started gathering those who went before us to get a new show together. You were so excited to start watching old shows and put them on DVD that I can't believe you are gone. I love and miss you my friend. Rest in peace. You will always and forever be in our hearts. Kenny, totally will miss you. As a "Mom's driver" for the children in the Choir, "Ambassadors for Christ" and also the Rainbow Player we traveled quite of bit over Philadelphia. Still have the programs from Sarafina and a video. I know you and Fernando are misbehaving in heaven. Rest in Peace. Barbara Jones and Ashley Moses
