Kenneth Lynn Schaub, Sr. of Killeen, TX passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. He went to be with the Lord peacefully in his sleep at 2:14 a.m. Kenneth was born on July 10, 1945 to Fred Ernest and Betty Olena Schaub of Gatesville, TX.

He graduated from Gatesville High School in 1963 and then attended Temple College. Kenneth married his high school sweetheart Teresa Jo Dyson on June 10, 1966. They were married for 52 years; only parted by death. Kenneth was an Army veteran, serving until 1969.
During his career Kenneth and his family spent 8 years in Germany where he helped coach football and wrestling. He worked for the US Government as a civil servant with TACOM for 35 years. Kenneth was a superb family man.

He was an ordained deacon, and valued his faith in Christ above all else. He is survived by his wife Teresa Jo Dyson of Killeen; their 4 children, Kenneth Lynn Schaub, Jr. of Salado, Dean Gregory Schaub of Huntsville, Juli Schaub Fischer of Killeen, and Cory Daniel Schaub of Salado. He was Opa (grandfather) to 12 grandchildren, plus one granddaughter due in May 2018. Kenneth was a member of First Baptist Church in Killeen, Texas.
