Mr. Kenneth D. Shock, born on August 28, 1937 in Defiance, Ohio, to the late Edith (Bolander) Shock and the late John E. Shock, passed away at age 81 on November 16, 2018, at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio. Kenneth attended Waite High School Toledo, Ohio. He was a Boiler Operator at University of Toledo until retiring in 1998. Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers, Howard Allison, Robert Allison, and Paul Shock; and sister, Jean Bashor Gergely. He is survived by his son, David (Carlina) Shock; daughters, Pamela (Matthew) Hart and Michelle (Kim) May; grandchildren, Chrissy Hart, Jeffrey Hart, Rod Shock, Cathy Shock, and Dylan Shock; and great-grandchildren, Grace Shock and Ryan Shock. He enjoyed telling stories and corny jokes. He was an usher at Adventure Christian Church in Tavares Florida where he retired. Friends and family can pay their respects at the celebration of life service on Sunday, November 25 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at Harbor Light Masonic Lodge, 3024 131st, Toledo, Ohio, 43611. Following that, there will be a prayer service, officiated by Rev. Francis Speier, at 2:00 p.m.
