Kenneth Stafford Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Sep. 11 to Sep. 13, 2009.
Kenneth Stafford was born April 5, 1938 in the Mooreland, Oklahoma area. He passed away from this earth on September 9, 2009 at his home, at the age of 71.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Inice (Mary) Stafford; one brother, Truman Stafford and a sister, Mavis Stafford. He is survived by the remainder of 13 brothers and sisters, including brothers: Carl, Jerry and Gary Stafford; sisters: Dalpha Sontag, Lois Haight, Dorma Gribble, Anna Belew, Evelyn Buffington, Elva Wake and Coleta Bohn. Kennith has four surviving sons: David Henderson, Curtis Henderson and wife Maria, Dewayne Stafford and Wayne Stafford and wife Debbie.

There are 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many others he adopted and treated as his own, not to mention the numerous nephews and nieces and beyond.

Kennith worked many years in the Oil field industry, he was well known and respected. His philosophy was do it right the first time or don't do it at all.

He loved to go fishing with his sons and anyone else who wanted to pack up a pole. If they didn't have one, he would provide one for them.

Kennith was a man of proud exterior, but his true nature was exposed as he was the first to help others, he will be remembered and missed.

Graveside services were held Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 11:00 am with pastor Kenneth Platte of the Shattuck First Baptist Church officiating. Bonnie Shepherd sang "One Day at a Time." Kennith's family entrusted the Mason Funeral Home of Shattuck, Oklahoma with all of the arrangements.

I am so sorry to hear about Kenneth. He was an awesome man. I loved it when he came into Red Dirt Wireless and gave me a hard time. I will miss that a lot. I know he will be greatly missed. I will be praying for your family.
