I just heard the tragic news about Ken and I am so sorry for your loss. He was a mentor and a friend at PNC for many years and we had a regular lunch to trade war stories about our day to day at work and also share good stuff about home. I know he was very proud of his children and especially so for his grandkids. He will be sorely missed and again I am very sorry for your loss.

I had opportunities to work with Ken at PNC. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer; the man knew everything and everyone. I got to know Ken when working in Command Centers during bank integrations. I learned that he loved his family greatly, and his work came in a strong second. He touched the lives of many and will be sorely missed! Respectfully,

Dear Nancy, Kim, and family,

The years pass, but memories remain. Although I have not been in touch with Ken for many years, I have very fond memories of our years together at Abington Heights. Kenny was a gentle soul who could light up the room with one smile. From study halls at Abington Junior High to band events at the high school, I have recollections of very happy times with Ken. Be assured of my special thoughts and prayers for all of you.

I too had the pleasure of working with Ken at PNC and, as others have noted, Ken was a great colleague and friend. His work focus was always to get things done and have them done "right". You only had to know Ken a short period of time to learn that he was a true family man....proud of his children and grandchildren. My sympathies to Ken's family and friends....may your memories of Ken live in your hearts and sustain you during this difficult time.

Nancy and family,

I hope you know how much I thought of Ken in the nearly 50 years we have known each other. We met in grade school, and then went to high school and college together. I will always count him as one of my best friends.

Donna and I will see you on Saturday, but please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

God Bless you all at this difficult time.

I was stunned when I found out. Donna and I will see on Saturday but please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

God Bless

Ken was my bowling partner for many years back in the good old days of the All Twos Bowling League. Neither of us were good bowlers but enjoyed the company of all our friends and the yearly bowling banquets. I will truly treasure my memories with the Travis family in our annual group skiing weekend to WISP. Those were the fun days with a group of 15 or more families with many children. I will always remember Ken for the kind, caring person he was. He spoke so highly of Nancy, Tiffany and Ryan, and his four granddaughters. A dear friend who will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.......

Ken always had a compliment for me and showed me nothing but kindness. I will miss seeing him at social events. My heart goes out for your family. Love, Kim

I worked with and for Ken for a number of years. (Most of them good, too.) Ken gave me a break when I needed one and was a true friend both personally and professionally. He was that for a lot of us. As many have said Ken could fix anything or find someone who could...no project plans or approvals, just a phone call, just because he asked. He was funny, silly and smart. I learned a lot from him and I'm sad he's gone.

May 20, 2015

I am so sorry Nancy and family. Ken and I went way back to the early 80s and 90s at Northeastern Bank & PNC Bank. He was a kind man. Funny, hardworking and very intelligent. It was an honor to work with him and learn from him. He was a friend and a mentor.~Sharon (Mundrake) Mullaney

My heart is broken to learn of Ken's passing. I met Ken a long time ago at PNC in the call center, but started to see him again on the way to PNC downtown. We would see each other on the Trolley from South Hills Village. Ken was such a kind man, always asked how my daughter was and we all had good laughs on our way into work. He will be missed very much. Rest in peace my friend.. You brightened my mornings on my way to work and I will miss that.

Ken was one of my favorite people ever at PNC. He was Mr fix it for so many issues in the retail bank. Always a positive attitude a great smile and confidence he would find a solution to any problem or task that came his way. He was so well respected by so many of us that once you knew Ken was on the case you just knew everything would be ok. He was one of the all time best employees, and best persons that PNC ever had. I am so sorry Nancy that he never had time to enjoy his retirement, my heart goes out to you and your family.
