What can I say, Kenny was like the brother I never had. I like everyone else will miss him for so many reasons but his memory and all of the good times that we had together will forver be cherished.

This is what I sent to the Towson newspaper called "The Towerlight". It was printed the following Monday.

Today, as I looked at the front page of the Towerlight I felt a pang of grief. The picture was one taken giving a view out of the Center For The Arts. The view was familiar too me. Recently Ken Weber took me there to show me the progress. He knew my love for the building and he knew it would excite me to take a tour through the building. I was the Maintenance Mechanic in that building for almost 3 years working underneath Ken. We where both working the weekend, it seemed like a good idea we where going to Bateman’s for a couple-a buffalo chicken cheeseteaks anyway. As we toured and marveled at the progress we stopped and peered from the same perspective that the Towerlight front page offered. Working our way through the building Ken would explain too me different things about the building and it’s operation. He was the Maintenance Chief responsible for Center For The Arts. Ten years younger than me, he had a wealth of experience in building maintenance. We started working here the same week almost 4 years ago. We shoveled a lot of snow together. He helped me to believe in myself and stand up for myself. He passed away Sunday. He was 31. He didn’t smoke, drink heavily or take part in vices others enjoyed. He shared with me that he never tried any kind of illegal drugs. Not even one puff. If you knew him you would believe that, as I did. He actually lived quite responsibly so it doesn’t make sense that he passed away. As I wrestle in coming to terms with my loss there will be reminders of my friend Ken all over campus. That’s ok. They are good memories. See ya Ken.

My heart goes out to Ken's loved ones. I'm so sorry for your loss.
I feel that we at Towson University have suffered a great loss too. Ken was not afraid to work hard and lead his crew to be organized, friendly and productive. I never saw him without a smile. He was a pleasure to work with and will be missed.

I too work for towson university and since I started I knew of ken and the very sharp man that he was. I would meet him at the great snow meetings and other get togethers and he always seemed to have a smile. We are very sorry to the family for the loss, but he will also be greatly missed around campus.

Our sincerest condolences go out to Ken's family. Ken helped us here at Bill Bateman's Bistro whenever he could. He will be missed by everyone at Bill Bateman's Bistro.

Kenny was by brother and best friend. We had the best times together and everyone around us had a great time. We were quite the duo when we got into our great conversations. Anyone who was with us when we were at our best knows exactly what I am talking about. He always had a way of making laugh no matter how down I was feeling. He was always there to support me every step of my life no matter what kind of decisions I made. I always looked up to my brother and I respected his opinions no matter how much I may have disagreed with them (which wasn't very often). He will be missed, but I will never let anyone forget Ken.

I'm so sorry you have lost Kenny. I never met him but I remember the cute stories you would come to work with about the kids from time to time. I wish I could ease the pain and sorrow in some way. Hold onto the memories and know that God must have a special task for him. Perhaps your Mom desperately needs him by her side. I won't be able to make it to the viewing or the funeral because of my work schedule but my thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

This is nothing but sorrow. My best friends stepdad pasted away too soon. For the few time I met Kenny, he was the sweetest, outgoing, & loving, guy that has ever walked this earth. May god bless amber and Brittany, and All the loved one he left behind. In God Name. WE WILL MISS YOU KENNY!!

I've known Kenny for more than half my life. He touched my life in so many ways. He was a very special man that will be missed terribly. I loved him dearly, and will always remember him. I will miss the heart to heart conversations that lasted for hours, going out to dinner, sharing our dreams, laughing at jokes, and the endless encouragement that we provided to each other. He was a man with a big heart, and a gentle soul. He was loving, caring, strong, compassionate, and a man that never gave up when things were rough.

In the short time Kenny was with us, he touched so many lives. I will always remember the summer get togethers, swimming in the pool, playing on the swingset. Kenny was very proud of his family and will be missed by all. God Bless.
