Dear Young family,
I am so sorry for your loss of Ken. He was always so sweet and helpful with flowers, and I always had a secret crush on him for his ponytail. He will be so missed. Love, Elane Thomas

My sympathy to the entire Young family. My friendship began with Blake and Aimee as (neighbors) they kept a watchful eye on my Grandmother. That friendship developed into a relationship with the entire family at the Greenhouse. God's blessings to all of you at this most difficult time.

Our condolences to Sandy and the family. We have really enjoyed our friendship for many years. We will miss KB very much. It is sad that his enjoyment of life and his family was cut short, but you know that he would want you to celebrate his life, not mourn his passing. God Bless, Bob & Betty Parker

I was saddened to learn of Ken's passing. I met him 25 years ago when I came to Fort Wayne to join the Chemistry faculty of IPFW. Over the years I purchased many flowers for my wife. I enjoyed Ken's cheerfulness and his enjoyment of the Greenhouse. I will miss him.

My heart is so broke ... tears flow down my cheeks ... the world now holds a void ... may the Young family find peace in knowing : The Heavens opened up ... as the angels began singing ... when Kenny walked into the arms of Jesus ... hugs

Ken was my neighbor for 32 years. He was one of the nicest men I have ever met. He helped me in so many ways, getting birds out of my house, taking care of the rabbits my dogs caught and lending a helping hand whenever he could. He always had a smile on his face and kindness in his heart. I will miss him terribly. Rest in peace Ken.

Ken's artistry will last forever in the memories that I have of beautiful flowers he arranged for my wife and the Cadets of CLHS.

We all will miss him dearly.
