Kenneth Joe Roberts, age 39 of The Plains, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, at his home. Born February 10, 1984, in Parkersburg, WV, he was the son of Candace Clay and the late Kenneth R. Roberts.
He graduated from Federal Hocking High School and Tri-County VS and was employed with the Carpenters Union 356 of Marietta. He was also attending Hocking College to further his career in engineering. Kenny loved music and playing guitar and was a skilled tattoo artist. He loved spending time with his family and friends and helped many people in the recovering community.
Kenny is survived by his daughters, Madison Elaine Roberts and Bailey Morgan Roberts; his mother and step-father, Candace & Dr. Steven Clay of Athens; a sister, Kelly (Chris) Carson of Cincinnati; his grandmother, Sharon Stark of Pomeroy; his grandfather, Patrick Wagner of Marietta; several aunts and uncles including a close uncle, Dale Roberts of Hockingport; his niece, Adeline Carson; two nephews, Cohen Carson and Jimmy Bond Ill; two half-brothers; and several cousins.
Besides his father, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Brice and Lucy Roberts; his brother, Jimmy Bond, Jr.; three uncles, Charles Callahan, Ronzel Roberts and Joe Roberts.
Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens. Please share a memory, a note of condolence or sign the online register at www.jagersfuneralhome.com.
