A native of Louisa, KY, he was the son of the late Isaac and Mary Adkins Keaton. He worked in the fencing/construction business. Kent loved to go deer hunting.
He is survived by six siblings, Harold Keaton of Carlisle, KY, William (Cathy) Keaton of Aumsville, Oregon, Spencer (Lee) Keaton of Chillicothe, Ohio, Donald (Mary Ellen) Keaton of Millersburg, KY, Kitty Keaton of Aumsville, Oregon and Bobby Keaton of Millersburg, KY; dear friends, Scott and Margaret Perry, Owen Perry, Thomas Evans, James and Teresa Jones and many other friends and relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Darrell Eugene Keaton and Ronald Keaton and one sister, Martha Keaton.
There will be a memorial service by the family at a later date.
The arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
