Kernell will be missed more than you could ever know. His beautiful voice, wonderful and glowing smile and his ability to make people laugh are all gifts that he is sharing in a much better place. He was a very very dear friend who will always be remembered and who will forever hold a special place in my heart and the hearts of all who had the opportunity to know him.

There is truely no words that can express how the passing of my cousin makes me feel. I didnt get to spend as much time with him due to distance as everyone else. What I do remember is my firat meeting of him and how it felt. He treated me as if we had always known one another all our lives. He had a beautiful smile and a welcoming heart. I loved him instantly. He would speak of the future visits we would have getting to know each other and our families. My heart cries out at the loss of Kernell Jr. as he had a wonderful spirit that made me feel like family always no matter how far. My prayers go out to his wife and kids as well as our family and all who cherished him. My tears have stopped as I realize this is not the end of your life but the beginning with Jesus Christ and I will see you again. With love...Darlene, Anthony,Laurice,Luke,Aaron,Lauren, Charlene and Family.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS IS TO LOSE A CHILKD, THEREFORE, I CAN'T UNDERSTAND THE PAINN YOU ARE FEELING, BUT I KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES AND HIS NAME IS JESUS. HE LOVES YOU AND CARES FOR YOU. HE SAYS TO CAST ALL YOUR BURDENS ON HIM. IN TIMES LIKE THESE, IT IS HARD TO FIND THE RIGHT WORDS TO SAY, JUST KNOW THAT I LOVED KERNELL. HE ALWAYS MADE ME FEEL SO SPECIAL BY CALLING ME HIS AUTIE EMELDA INSTEAD OF HIS COUSIN. I REMENBER THE FIRST TIME HE FOUND OUT WHO I WAS, HE JUST GRABBED ME AND HUGGED ME. THAT WAS SO SPECIAL, BECAUSE ALL HE KNEW OF ME WAS THROUGH DEBRA. YOU HAVE PRECIOUS MEMORIES, SO HOLD ON TO THAT. YOUR STRENGHT LIES IN GOD. I KNOW THAT YOU ALSO HAVE THE STRONG SUPPORT OF YOUR FAMILY. MAY KERNELL'S LIFE BE A LEGACY TO HIS WIFE AND CHILFREN. GOD IS A GOOD GOD AND HE PROMISES NEVER TO LEAVE US NOR FORSAKE US. I ENCOURAGE YOU READ PSALM 46. REMEBER GOD WILL MEET YOU AT YOUR POINT OF NEED. AS THE DAYS GO BY AND FRIENDS AND FAMILY GO THEIR SEPERATE WAYS, GOD WILL LIFT YOU UP AND COMFORT YOU. AT THOSE TIMES, REFLECT ON THE KERNELL THAT YOU KNOW. YOU WILL LAUGH AND CRY AT THE SAME TIME, BECAUSE YOU KNOW THAT HE WAS A CHARACTER. I LEAVE YOU WITH THIS MESSAGE, GOD CARES FOR YOU AND SO DO I.

Our heartfelt love and sympathy to the entire family on the loss of our dear cousin. Even though I didn't get to know him, I'm sure that you have many treasured memories.
My dad, Walter Abadie (aka Uncle Daig) would bring us to the country (Vacherie, Wallace area) when we were kids to make sure we knew his family. We would always make a welcomed stop by his niece, Yvonne Goudia and see her family. We send our love and prayers to Kernell's family at this time of bereavement, knowing that he is in a better place, yet will be missed dearly by his loved ones. May God comfort your hearts at this time and in the future. Again, treasure the memories that will fill your heart with joy, for our God is a God of restoration and the healer of our broken hearts.
Love,
The Abadie Family and

Carla and Family-
Our deepest sympathies to you in this time of sadness and loss. I can't imagine how you must be feeling, and there are no words I can say that will give you any solace. I do hope that you all find some small measure of comfort in the prayers, support and love of those who know you, and who knew Kernell. Hold on to the memories of the happy times you shared with Kernell, and let them offer you light when you feel darkness. Carla, you are in my thoughts and hope you know that if you need absolutely anything at all, you can just ask.
All our love,

To the family of Mr. Kernell Goudia, you have my deepest sympathy. Kernell was truly a great guy and he was never one to hold his tongue about anything. That is one of the things I really admired about him. I am saddened by his passing as so many are, but there is the comfort in knowing that he is in a much better place because there is no greater place to be than in the presence of God.

Carla, we were both shocked & saddened to hear of Kernell's passing. You have our most heartfelt sympathy. I have memories of him from the times we all hung out together at many of the company events and company trips. I remember the conversations I had with Kernell and how he would make me crack up laughing because he was so straight forward and didn't bite his tongue. As sad as it will be, you DO have memories of him to hold in your heart. Think of the good times you two shared and know that he lived a good life.
I can't tell you that I know what you are going through right now because words are so inadequate at a time like this. But I want you to know that I have been thinking about you non-stop since we found out on Friday. I've wanted to call you but I also wanted to give you some space during this time. I was, and still am, deeply saddened by this and truly wish I could take your pain away. I wish I could express the sorrow I feel, just knowing you are bearing a loss so profound.
I know that you will find the strength to get through this very sad and difficult time. Knowing that your friends and family are here for you will hopefully be consolation to you.
May it comfort you to know that others care and are praying for you. If I can help you in any way, don't hesitate to let me know. I am just a phone call away. I pray that God will give you the strength to see you through this sad and difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. In Faith & Sympathy,
