Kerry Milkovich Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 31, 2023.
Kerry Joseph Milkovich, 71, of Murray, Utah, passed away on October 27, 2023. He was a loving and caring individual who always found the best in people. Kerry had a contagious smile that brought joy to all those around him.

He is survived by his wife Lynne, two daughters, Nicole (Troy) Taylor and Shalli Milkovich, and his brother Kevin. Kerry was a devoted grandfather to his five grandchildren, Zachary, Brayden, Austin, Ashlei, and Brody, whom he loved with all his heart. He was preceded in death by his mother Vauna, father Joseph, sister Karen, and other family members.

Kerry graduated from Granite High School, Class of 1970. He then continued his education at the University of Utah, where he played baseball. He dedicated his career to the family business, Joe's Trophies and Gifts, which his parents started in 1964.

In his free time, Kerry enjoyed playing softball, bowling, golfing, and playing cards with his family. He took great pleasure in watching his grandchildren succeed in their sports. Kerry also cherished his annual golf outing with friends, looked forward to Wendover and many other trips with family and friends.

A celebration of Kerry's life will be held at The Azalea, located at 11277 Kestrel Rise Rd, Suite 2 & 3 in South Jordan, on November 3rd, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In lieu of a service, family and friends will gather to remember and honor Kerry.

May his soul rest in peace.

Lynne and family,
I was so sorry to hear about Kerry´s passing. I kind of lost touch with Kerry over the past several years, but really enjoyed his friendship in our younger days. I have great memories of softball, golfing and even with our interactions at Joes Trophies. He will be missed. Best to you and your family!

So sad to hear this news. I´ve known the Milkovich family at least 40 years. My parents (Gary and Pat Howick), we´re close friends with Joe and Vauna. Between bowling, going to our family cabins...playing horseshoes...joking and laughing...was always a fun time with great memories I´ll never forget. Kerry was always so nice and fun to around.
My heart and prayers are with you all. Rest peacefully Kerry.

Putting extra gallon of gas in your car every couple of days to make you think that you getting great MPG. Who does that? Or aluminum foil in your ham sandwich. Who does that? Kerry did! Great prankster and true friend. Always there when needed with a smile and always optimistic. We will miss him great deal! Rest in peace my friend.

My favorite memories beside all the practical jokes he played on me. Packing in by horse into the Uinta mountains for a week, or spending my wedding night in Tahoe with him gambling instead of my new wife. Can't forget all the years of bantering with him.
