Kevin Bowden Obituary
Kevin was born in Tampa on August 4, 1970 and was the son of Antoinette Bowden and Marvin Johnson. He attended local schools in Tampa graduating from Tampa Bay Tech in 1988. He enjoyed watching football, baseball, tennis, working and spending time with family. He was employed by AmeriGroup.
He was preceded in eternal rest by his great grandparents; James and Alcania Kenon, Quincy, FL; grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Bowden; grandfather, Herbert L. Bowden; step-grandfather, Fred D. Thomas; aunt, Betty J. Bowden and numerous great aunts and uncles.
He leaves to cherish loving memories of him with his mother, Antoinette Bowden; father, Marvin (Sandra) Johnson; brother, Alonso Belton; uncles, Bobby Bowden Sr., Frederick Bowden Sr., and Anthony Bowden; aunts including a very devoted aunt, Voncile J. Thomas, Mary D. Bowden and Beverly A. Bowden all of Tampa; nephews, Joshua S. Belton, St. Petersburg, FL and Detreveon Belton, Tampa, FL; cousins, Gerald (Yvonne) House, Jacksonville, FL, Bobby Bowden Jr., Keith Bowden, Frederick Bowden Jr., Adrian Bowden, Cedrick Bowden, Frederick A. Bowden, Marcus Bowden, Brian Bowden all of Tampa, FL, Latoya (Walter) Hairston, Birmingham, AL, and Vonn M. Howard Jr., Kissimmee, FL. He also leaves to cherish so many beautiful memories of him with a host of other uncles, aunts, cousins and devoted friends, including co-workers at Ameri-Group.
A viewing will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home.

Kevin, It has been a pleasure to have gotten to know you. You are a man of great strength and character. I consider it an honor to say that you were not just a co-worker but you are family. Kevin will forever be in my heart. He was a truly a kind and gentle man, we shared many laughs together and as we were always told by our manager “your reputation precedes you” I can truly say Kevin was the truest example of this.
