Reno - Kevin Wayne Crosby passed away on March 6, 2018 at Renown Medical Center due to injuries sustained from a car accident.

Kevin was born on January 3, 1969 to Barry and Shirley (Vinson) Barredo at Mt. Grant General Hospital in Hawthorne, NV. Kevin attended both Sparks and Reed High Schools before moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1984 where he attended and graduated from East Central High School in 1987.

Kevin moved back to Sparks, NV in 1996 where he met and married the love of his life, his wife of 20 years, Krissie Crosby. Kevin was a proud father to his two sons Carson (12) and Carter (8), his life revolved around them. Kevin was an avid fisherman who loved fishing Pyramid Lake and was excited to share that love with his sons.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Krissie Crosby, sons Carson and Carter of Reno, parents Terry and Shirley (Vinson) Brown of Oklahoma, brother Jason Brown (Erin) of Sparks, NV, sister Terri Neilsen (Jeff) of Oklahoma, his father and mother-in-law Fred and Judy Crosby of Pyramid Lake, NV, sister-in-laws: Chelsea Sliter (Shawn) of Sparks, NV, Jessica Smith (Zach) of Sparks, NV, Rebecca Bussa of Reno, NV, his six nephews and two nieces who he loved like his own kids, and his best friend—his dog Chum.

In lieu of flowers, a fundraiser dinner to help support Carson and Carter has been scheduled for April 28, 2018 at Crosby Lodge at 4pm. Please call 775-476-0400 for more details.
