Gloria Babish Obituary
She is survived by her brother, Richard Babish and his wife, Josita of Wilton CT. Gloria leaves behind seven nieces and nephews - F. John Yates and his wife Lynn of Roanoke, VA, Jack Yates of Hopkinton, RI, Christine Trevett of Oveido, FL, Carol Bossidy and her husband Rev. Daniel of Torrington, Robert Babish of Los Angeles CA, Tina Babish and her husband Ted Sonntag of Fairfield, CT and James Babish and his wife Ann-Marie of Acton, MA and 15 great nieces and nephews. Gloria loved her calling as a nursing assistant and is remembered by her many friends for her attitude and laughter. So, as she says, “leave ‘em laughing”.
There will be no calling hours. A graveside service and internment will be at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, Mass at a later date.

My dear Aunt Gloria was a truly beautiful strong and independent woman. She always gave me the best advice often with a king of tough love that was appreciated. She had such a wonderful attitude about life even through some hard challenges. She cared deeply for her loved ones and was always reaching out with support. That she wanted to have a living memorial service speaks of her love of life. She was as a second mother to me.
Our family is mourning her loss deeply.

Gloria was loved by almost everyone who knew her. Her personality was such that people gravitated toward her. I am so luckly that besides being a big difference in age, that I got to know her. She was one of my best friends and each day I will miss her. She will be greatly missed.
