KEVIN C. LYERLY

Kevin C. Lyerly Mr. Kevin Chess Lyerly, age 54, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, February 11, 2013. Born September 25, 1958, in Florence, Kevin was the son of the late evangelist Lloyd LaFaye and Amelia Ann Cox Lyerly. He was a graduate of Johnsonville High School and was employed for many years in the family clothing business, A & L Clothing, that his mother and father started. Kevin also served in the United States Coast Guard and was honorably discharged after approximately 4 years. He loved spending time, especially boating, with Jason and Amanda, grandchildren, family, and friends and was a member of Word of Life Church. Kevin also enjoyed hunting and fishing as long as his health permitted, but most of all he enjoyed helping others. Survivors include his son, Jason (Amanda) Lyerly, and grandchildren, Connor Lyerly, Taylor Lyerly, and Carson Lyerly. Funeral services, conducted by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be held at 2:00PM Friday, February 15, 2013, at Word of Life Church. Interment will follow in Lake Chapel cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 14, 2013, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Memorial donations may be made to Word of Life Church, P. O.
