Kevin Mann Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 5, 2013.
MANN Kevin Michael Mann, 33, was born February 29, 1980 at Navy Hospital, NAS JAX. After a courageous battle with colon cancer, he found his rest on October 29, 2013, surrounded by love in his home. Kevin achieved Eagle Scout, the highest advancement rank in Scouting, with Troop #304 in 1997. Kevin was a 1998 graduate of Baldwin Middle-Senior High School. His lifelong love of motorcycles was evident to all who knew him. From the classic Indian motorcycles of his grandfather, the late Paul Pearce, to his Fire Engine Red Harley Road King. Kevin rode as much as possible with his friends, family and fellow Orange Park HOG members. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and Tigers. He was also well loved and respected by his co-workers at Citibank, where he was employed for 13 years. Kevin will be remembered for his loving personality and willingness to help anyone who needed him. Although words cannot accurately express the positive impact he left on everyone he met, his ever present It's All Good will live on with each of us. Kevin is survived by his wife Jeanine E. Mann, his faithful dog Harley. Mother, Margaret Camarata (Pearce), Father Al and wife Heidi Mann. Brother Thomas Mann and wife Shannon. Sisters, Kelli Rodifer and husband Patrick, Kristie Barnes and husband Jay. Uncle to nieces Shelby Mann, Savannah Gordon, Leah and Brooke Barnes. Kevin had extended family in Michigan, Arizona, New Hampshire, California, Louisiana and Tennessee. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 10 at the Fleet Reserve located at 5391 Collins Road, Jacksonville from 12 - 2 PM. As Kevin was a come as you are type of Mann, we invite you to come celebrate his life as you are as well and share stories and memories of his life. To honor Kevin s spirit of charity and volunteerism, his family requests that in lieu of flowers, all who can, make a donation in Kevin s name to either the American Cancer Society or Boy Scout Troop #304 of Jacksonville.

Although I never met Kevin in person, he (and his wife) helped me through a really hard time earlier this year. They offered a hand, an ear, and even a shoulder to cry on. Never have I known anyone so kind as the Mann I never met. I wish I had.

Son I will miss you more then words can express. Through the years we became very close and found out we had a lot in common other then our looks. Our love for cars and motorcycles just for starters. Not only how they looked but what made them run and what it took to fix them. Then the joy of hearing the pipes then riding or driving them. You will surly be missed by many but most of all by me. Your in heaven now looking down on us with a smile on your face and we are looking back up at you remembering all the good time we had together. And you saying "IT'S ALL GOOD DAD" and I love you. I love you too son and miss you. DAD
