Kevin Joseph O’Hare

Kevin Joseph O'Hare passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2021, at age 69.  He was a devoted husband to Pat, loving father to Christine Balen (Steven), and beloved Peepop to Austin, Savannah and Cameron Balen.  He was also survived by many loving cousins and his best friend, Buddy Kunsevich.  Kevin loved spending his free time fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren ranging from Christmas time, spring break trips to Busch Gardens, and extended summer visits that included many activities, including fishing, Phillies games, and even a trip to Maine to go lobstering. Even though he had a bachelor's degree in business from Rutgers University, he preferred working with his hands, from building cranes to working as an electrician.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, March 27th, from 11 AM to 12 noon at St. Bartholomew's Church (5600 Jackson St, Philadelphia, PA 19124) at the intersection of Harbison and Cheltenham Aves. (Please park around the back of the church in the parking lot and use the ramp entrance off of the lot to enter the church). His funeral mass will begin at 12 noon and his interment will be held privately.  Kevin was given a second chance at life by being blessed as an organ recipient.
