Thomas R. Terry

Kevin was a talented young man when I met him in the tenor section of the William and Mary Choir in 1970 and I found out that he had many more talents before we graduated four years later. He made the silk-screen posters for the Choir's concerts, made the red vest and cummerbund that Pappy Fehr proudly wore in the final concerts of our senior year, sang the tenor part in the duet of "Beautiful Dreamer" in the Stephen Foster sequence of our final concert, and even painted the trim on Pappy's home. He was charming, kind, considerate, and well-loved by all in the William and Mary Choir.

Dear Sharon and Terry. I found a card that I received from Kevin in 2020 and tried to text him and call him. I then looked up his name online and found the shocking obituary. I am so sorry for your loss. I am still in shock. I wish I could have said good-bye. I am really speechless but wanted to give you my condolences. I am retired and living in Florida now. Again, my deepest condolences. Joe Zarbo

Kevin was witty, intelligent and a very charming man. I had the fortune to have known him for 55 years. In high school we went to the proms and basketball games. On Sundays we would take drives while listening and singing to songs by Henry Mancini, Percy Faith and Burt Bacharach. On Christmas Eve he would come to visit my parents and I with a gift of boiled custard. My mom loved this drink! I am blessed to have known him and I'm left with such lovely memories. Lastly, Kevin and I both loved our dogs, and we would like others love them as well.
Sincerely, Becky Walters Dooley

We met Kevin on a trip to the Kino Missions in Sonora in 2016. He was very enthusiastic and he was looking forward to finding out all about the Southwest.

What a dear, sweet, and fun friend. Kevin will definitely be missed at Habitat Tucson. I will think of him at every home dedication and Rainbow Build, and every time we build with students at the CHUCK. His warmth could fill a stadium!
