I remember when Kevin was a toddler. We were out in the front yard. Always playing catch with him. So I decided to make out a pattern as to how and where he would catch the football. I showed him a question mark. I drew it in my hand and I told him where the ball would be coming. I tell you I can see Kevin now. He ran that play and caught that ball like he had been doing it all his life. He made it!! I love you Cuz. You are gone but NOT FORGOTTEN

Thinking about you Bro...The way I met Kevin in the summer of "83" that I will never forget! We were walking down the street (Rick,Johnny and Cedric) in a new neighborhood coming from Cincinnati OH, and now living in Spring TX. Kevin and two other guys (Derrick and Terrence) were approaching us and the first one to introduce themselves to us was of course Kevin. Somehow I knew from that moment this guy would be a friend to me for many years. Miss you Bro!....I also learned the hard way that Kevin was left handed...LOL...The first time we played basketball...

Kevin was my brother from another mother. We played everyday as kids, Kevin was truly my best friend.if I wasn't at his house he was at mine.I spent the night so much i had my own pillow. We played football together from the little league mustangs to the
dueitt eagles to the spring lions . He was always the star of the team. Seems like every time he got the ball he scored. I always looked up to kevin, on and off the field. What a great friend. I love u bro. Rest in peace.

Rurh, Odell & Josh,
Kevin was my little cousin that I was so proud of. I told everyone about him and insisted that all of my friends looked at every game he played in. I met Kevins mother when we were both college students at WILEY College in Marshall, TX. We have remained friends for over 48 yrs. I hurt when I heard of Kevin going home, but I know that WE knew GOD. God will take away the pain and help you heal. Just trust God, believe his promises and hold fast to your faith.

Yesterday when I first read about the passing of my former Spring teammate & friend I was shocked and saddened. I remember Kevin as the guy that always had a smile on his face or was telling a joke of some kind....that was just Kevin being Kevin :-) He was know for his athletic ability but he was so much more than that, he was a man that had a good heart and was a true friend of mine that I will never forget. He may not be with us anymore, but I will always have the memories and times I shared with him in my mind...that can never be erased. Goodbye No 20# you were special and you touched my heart more than you will ever know. God Bless.

Kevin lived here in Boca after the hurricane. I met him when he arrived to work on the claim for all the damage that was done to my home. He said "Miss Cori can I live here at your beautiful house while I am in Fl?" We became friends...I thought it would be forever. I am totally shocked and disturbed. Kevin was one of the most honorable young men I have ever met. He never said no when I asked for help. We cooked together every night. He worked hard and he worked smart. I will never forget this wonderful man and the great loss we have in losing him. RIP my friend. - Your Florida Family Eric, Jessi, Jay and I xoxox

I met Kevin in 2007 while we both worked for DAPA. He became one of only a handful of people I have known who was a true friend. He was selfless, compassionate, smart and funny. He was a remarkable human being and a good person through and through. He will be dearly missed. My sincerest condolences to the family.

Kevin was truly one of the good guys from Texas and I was truly shocked to hear of his passing. I remember having fun in the dorms and wondering how such skinny legs can carry such a strong guy. I lift your family in prayer and God bless you. You touched many lives, it is heartbreaking that you left us so soon.

From all who worked with Kevin, we will miss his sunny desposition and gentle demeanor. He was a pleasure to be around, and his loss creates a hole which will be hard to fill. His devotion to family, especially his son who he was so proud of, was just one of the many things which endeared us to him. Our condolences and our prayers go th the family.

To the Williams Family,

There are no words to express my heartfelt sadness of your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin when I was dating my husband Frank Cornish. Kevin was a sweet guy! Frank left this world four years ago. I can only imagine he was one of the first to meet Kevin as he entered heaven. Two Bruins together again. Our hearts ache as they are gone from us, but we celebrate them having everlasting life and standing with the Lamb of God.

Kevin was always surrounded by a field of beautiful energy. He was a great man and an outstanding athlete. His press conference was one of the most exciting days at Spring High School and we were all so proud to be associated with such a talented and kind human being. Even after his football time was over, his enthusiasm for life never waned. His smile lit up the entire room and his presence was larger than life. May his legend live on in the hearts of all that knew him.

My dearest Kevin, if I could speak to you and you hear me this is what I'd say . . . That my tears are because my heart is broken , I love you , and hate to see you go . Every time I saw you I was glad to see your smiling face , even now that is what I keep seeing . You were so pleasant to be around . When you were a baby , and we were at Mothers and Big Daddy , I gave you bottles , changed your diapers , fed you , and Roslynn and I fought over you . I love you Kevin , and I will always miss you until I see you again . Love , Sherri

Cedric Glaude

December 28, 2012

Kevin worked for my wife and I Dr. Rita and Cedric Glaude, never met such a nice GENTLEMAN. I've been recently diagnosed with cancer, and Kevin always always had very kind words, asked how I was doing and if I needed anything. Whatever I asked of him to do he never had a problem, never complained, and always a joy to be around. Always smiling, joking, and appreciate any kindness that was extended to him. When I heard Kevin was sick the weekend before he passed, because I knew he was going to see his son the weekend before Christmas, after I heard how he sound on the phone, I could tell he appreciated me telling him to take off the entire week because he needed to be well before the drive to see his son. It made me feel good, because all I could barely make out him saying Mr. Glaude, I really appreciate that. We really are going to miss you Kevin. MAY the Lord Bless you and your family.

Every time I think of Kevin, I remember the young high school kid that was swarmed by friends, and admirers. He was always smiling, except for those few times where Coach Hutson put his foot down and actually made us work in track practice. He was a phenominal talent, and will be greatly missed.

Kevin was a special talent and an even better person. It's amazing how many conversations about high school athletics lead to the numerous feats he accomplished. I ran in to Kevin a few months back after not seeing him for 10+ years. He looked like he could still set a few more records.

He will be missed by many. Rest in peace my friend. See you on the other side some day.

Odell, Nettie and Josh, few words can console hearts grieved by the loss of a son or a brother. There will come a time when you will see Kevin's smiling face when you look out into the distance. You will think about a jester or a saying of his and you will smile. You will remember with fondness the joyfulness and warmth his presence exuberated. And in quietness and peacefulness you will close your eyes and see him smiling back at you. Be thankful that God shared this Angel with you to touch your lives in so many beautiful ways. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and let God direct and keep you in His Grace. I love you family and my prayers are with you.

Words will never express the pain I'm feeling at this moment nor can they express how much I will miss you.I will so miss the times we shared but I am so blessed for the memories.Kev and I became friends about 2 yrs ago and when I first met him all I could think about was how handsome he was and what a beautiful smile he had and after getting to know him I found out that was just the beginning KEV had a HEART OF GOLD I could always depend on his listening ear or him to pick me up when I was down.Kev was a man of his word if he said he was going to do it it got done.He often did things for people just because he wanted to make others feel special ..KEVIN BELIEVED IN GOD he also gave me faith So I know one day we will meet again. But right now my prayers go out to his mom ,dad ,brother and that Precious little boy whom he loved with all his heart.I know his family will miss their Sunday afternoons with Kevin he so loved the time he spent with them.
